Other activities. In inclement weather you can visit the world renowned Dartington Crystal Factory at Torrington, museums at Barnstaple and Appledore, and an art gallery at Bideford. Barnstaple and Bideford both have weekly Pannier and Craft markets. There is also a large Leisure centre at Barnstaple, with an indoor swimming pool, and several theatres and cinemas locally. For children there are a large number of all weather attractions including the award winning Big Sheep and the Milky Way.
